CableCom, LLC and 2 Men1 Cable will replace cable system pedestals in the Los Alamos downtown area from June 6 through June 16. Crews will work in the roadway on 15th Street between Central and Trinity, as well as on Central Avenue just east of 15th Street. Some traffic delays in the area are expected.
Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., crews will bore on 15th Street between Central and Trinity on the east side of the street, shifting northbound vehicular traffic to the center of the road and closing the sidewalk to pedestrians. Additionally, boring on Central east of 15th Street, will occur on the south side, shifting eastbound motorists to the center of the road and closing the southeast sidewalk to pedestrians. Two-way traffic will be maintained for motorists, and detour signs will be in place for pedestrians.
