On April 11, Los Alamos Junior Varsity softball travelled to Bernalillo for a non-district game and 10 run ruled them in the 6th inning 20-9.
- Danalysa Rodriguez hit a pair of homeruns to lead off the 4th and 6th innings
- Sydney Kitts had a solid plate appearance going 5 for 6 and driving in 5 RBI’s with 4 triples
- Andrea Dominguez had a strong glove in left field catching 2 hard hit balls in the 2nd inning to keep LA down by 1 only going into the 3rd inning
- Malaya Haynes earned the win with 4 strikeouts, 13 hits and 9 runs
On April 14, LA hosted Espanola for a double header
Game 1 – LA 15 run ruled Espanola in the 3rd inning 18-3
- Haynes earned the win with 3 strikeouts, 5 hits and 3 runs
- Kitts went 3 for 4 with 6 RBI’s
- Rodriguez hit a 2 run bomb in the 2nd inning
- K’Lee Warwick, Rodriguez and Adia Fortin accounted for 10 runs
Game 2 – LA 10 run ruled Espanola in the 5th inning 28-18
- Haynes earned the win pitching 4 innings, with only 1 strikeout, 9 hits, and 11 runs
- Fortin relieved Haynes in the 4th and got 3 Ks, 6 hits, 7 runs
- Ashley Casados came out swinging going 4 for 5, 3 RBI’s and scoring 2 runs
- Jazmyn Montoya lead the team with 4 RBI’s while going 3 for 5 with 2 doubles
- Warwick, Sophia Martinez and Haynes also went 3 for 5 at the plate
