COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

Power has been restored to Los Alamos after an underground  faulted cable caused an outage to all of Circuit 13 before 6:30 this morning. The only properties that are still without power are Timber Ridge and Caballo Apartments. 

Electric crews from the Department of Public Utilities are working cautiously to repair the fault.  They were able to restore most of Western Area first. Around 8:30 they cut the entire circuit  again purposely in the course of repairs, but that interruption was short and enabled them to  restore a greater number of connections.
