Join PEEC Friday For ‘Home Alone’ And Hot Chocolate

PEEC NEWS RELEASE

Start your winter break with the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC)! Join PEEC for a cozy night at the Los Alamos Nature Center featuring a hot chocolate bar and a screening of the beloved holiday movie, “Home Alone.” This event will take place on Friday, Dec. 17. The hot chocolate bar will open at 6 p.m. and the movie will start at 6:30 p.m.

The hot chocolate bar will be held outside before the movie. Wear your “ugly” holiday sweaters or pajamas and slippers to get into the holiday spirit! Masks are required inside the Los Alamos Nature Center and planetarium. Seating is limited, so please register in advance at peecnature.org/events. Tickets are $7 per person.

“Home Alone” was released in 1990 and is rated PG. Common Sense Media recommends the movie for ages 10 and up. The film follows 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally left at home when his family rushes off on a holiday trip to Paris. Kevin assembles a barrage of booby traps to keep out a pair of burglars who have discovered that he is home alone for the holidays.
