On Thursday, Dec. 9, the Los Alamos High Country 4-H Team made baked goods to send to each Fire Station and Police Station as a thank you for everything they do for the community. The members each brought a baked cookie, bar or snack of some kind, and then combined the baked goods into the individual containers which were given to the first responders.
This project allowed us to practice our baking projects and try some new recipes, as well as provide for our community. The 4-H members were excited to do something for the Firefighters and Police Officers that keep our community safe.
