Los Alamos County Parks, Recreation and Open Space Divisions have partnered up with the Parjarito Astronomers for the Dark Sky/Night program.

If you have an interest in star gazing and the chance to look for stars through a telescope – come on out and join us on Saturday, Nov. 6. at Spirio Field at Overlook Park in White Rock.

– If you arrive after dark, please use your parking lights when driving through Overlook Park.
– Bring a red light flashlight for safety
– Feel free to bring your own binoculars, telescope, or just enjoy the night sky.
– Per COVID-19 guidance, vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask. 

This viewing is always weather dependent. Please maintain social distancing when around others.”
