Violet Naes, 9, a fourth grader at Pinon Elementary School in White Rock, competed at the Beam Me Up Gymnastics Competition in Roswell October 23 where she placed 3rd on Uneven Bars and Vault, 2nd on Floor, 1st on Beam and 2nd overall in Level 5. She now qualifies for Level 6. She trains at High Flyers Gymnastics in Los Alamos and has been competing for two years. Violet is the daughter of Jenn and Benjamin of White Rock. Courtesy photo
