Editor,
“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” – Robert Brault
When I drive by the playground where my children spent so many years at Mountain School, I think back on all the conversations with other moms, hashing out the issues of parenting, laughing, and just how much we needed that social hour while we watched our children play after school. I’m so grateful we had those moments during that stage of our lives. I didn’t realize how quickly the time would pass and how nostalgic I would be. The playground has some new equipment and a new set of children and parents, experiencing the things we did back then.
I’ll be voting FOR the Public Schools Building Act Question on Nov. 2, precisely because that playground, with all the life that was lived there, is funded by the money resulting from this vote. It’s a big thing.
