Los Alamos Trick-Or-Treat On MainStreet Haunts Downtown This Friday From 4-6, Masks Required

MAINSTREET LOS ALAMOS NEWS RELEASE

The annual Los Alamos Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet runs this Friday from 4-6 p.m. in downtown Los Alamos, with around 75 businesses and organizations handing out candy to costumed trick-or-treaters. To help mitigate the spread of COVID, this year’s event will require masks of all attendees, whether indoors or outdoors, and booths will be spread out more than normal. 
In addition to children and families coming out in costume for this popular community event, organizers Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District are also partnering with several other groups to host performances:

4-6 p.m. – SaxAtomics – Near Boese Brothers Brewpub

4:30 p.m. – Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA) – In front of the Post Office

4:45p p.m. – En Pointe Dance – In front of the Post Office

5:00 p.m. – Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA) – In front of the Post Office

5:30 p.m. – Pet Pangaea Pet Costume Parade – Meet at the elephant statue at Ashley Pond; parade route along Central Ave. to Pet Pangaea

The public should be aware that Traffic & Streets will be closing Central Ave on Friday, Oct. 29 from 3:00-6:30pm. The road will be closed from 15th Street to 20th Street.
