LOS ALAMOS STEAM LAB NEWS RELEASE

Family Strengths Network and Los Alamos STEAM Lab are hosting kid friendly STEM Activities each month this fall.  Join us Wednesday, Sept 8 (10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) and Saturday, Sept 11 at 9:30 a.m. to learn about the non-Newtonian fluid oobleck. The class will take about 45 minutes and will be held at FSN, 3540 Orange Street.

Kids will make their own oobleck and perform some basic experiments with it. We’ll also use food coloring to marble oobleck for those kiddos who don’t like getting their hands dirty. For the more adventurous, we’ll have a giant tray of oobleck for walking across or sinking down into.
