Los Alamos County Library System has announced an increase to in-person services on Fridays from 2-6 pm beginning May 7. Curbside service continues on Mondays and Wednesdays but will no longer be available on Fridays.
New library hours are as follows:
Sunday Closed
Monday 2pm-6pm* curbside
Tuesday 2pm-6pm walk-in
Wednesday 2pm-6pm* curbside
Thursday 2pm-6pm walk-in
Friday 2pm-6pm walk-in
Saturday 10am-5pm walk-in
What will stay the same:
- Patrons are still required to wear masks and to get their temperature checked in order to enter the library.
- Patrons are asked to limit their visits to 30 minutes or less
- Occupancy levels stay the same at 30 for Mesa Public Library and 10 for White Rock
- Study and meeting rooms are unavailable
- Please return your items to the outside book drops
- Children ages 10 and up may enter the library unaccompanied. Ages 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
