PROJECTY COWORK NEWS
projectY cowork Los Alamos has announced it will be hosting free outdoor pop-up coworking days throughout the summer, with the first event held Tuesday, April 20 from 2-5pm located in the parking lot in front of the cowork space at 150 Central Park Square. Other events will run the third Tuesday of the month during the same timeframe, through August. No reservations are required to participate.
“This will be a great opportunity for the public to experience what projectY is all about,” says Community Manager Christina McCormick. “Coworking is a community and it is not just focused on the space and amenities we offer, though we do have high-speed WiFi and a nice air conditioned work space. With people working from home for so long during this pandemic, some are craving the social aspect of working in an office. Coworking provides a flexible work environment with memberships that can fit into any budget and schedule. I can’t wait to highlight some of our recent office upgrades, including options for more private phone calls and virtual meetings.”
During the free pop-up coworking days, tables, chairs and snacks will be provided, along with tents for shade; participants need only to bring their laptop and work materials, and may move between the indoor and outdoor space if they so choose. Representatives from Del Norte Credit Union will also be available during Tuesday’s kickoff event, as a recent partner of projectY for April’s financial literacy month. projectY cowork and DNCU are collaborating to provide free resources about navigating business finances, from loans and raising capital, to bookkeeping. Check out the projectY website under the “Community” tab for more information and resources on financial literacy sponsored by the Del Norte LOV Foundation, an independent foundation associated with DNCU.
projectY is located at 150 Central Park Square near Pet Pangaea, Timeout Pizza and Rose Chocolatier.
