The main entrance road to Valles Caldera National Preserve will be temporarily closed to public vehicle traffic on Monday, April 26 for final road surface treatment. Original plans for a closure on April 19 were changed due to weather conditions over the weekend. During the road closure visitors can experience the preserve from multiple scenic overlook pullouts and access several hiking trails along NM-4.
