GARDEN CLUB NEWS

The Los Alamos Garden Club invites the public to attend their annual rose pruning workshop with Carlos Valdez from the County Extension Office. The workshop will take place in the Memorial Rose Garden at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 17.

This is an excellent workshop for anyone interested in learning how to properly prune roses. Valdez will teach attendees how to prune, clean and care for the roses.  Participants should wear long sleeve shirts and long pants. Gloves will be necessary and if you have pruners bring them.  It will also be helpful if you have a bucket to put cuttings in.

No registration is necessary and there is no fee but we will still need to wear masks and social distance.  We hope to see many of you there! For information, please contact Judy Handy at (505) 470-7644.
