U.S. Marine Corps veteran Ken Hebert watches a parade Wednesday in honor of his 91st birthday. Hebert served in the Marine Corps from 1948 to 1952. He went to Boot Camp in Paris Island, South Carolina, attended marine radar school in San Diego, Calif. and electronics school at Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois. Hebert moved to Los Alamos recently from Orem, Utah to be near his daughter, Lisa Gonzales. Representatives of the American Legion, VFW, Elks Lodge and Los Alamos Police Department participated in the vehicle parade through Hebert’s neighborhood. Courtesy photo
