Test your nature knowledge at Trivia Tuesday with the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC)! To get ready for Valentine’s Day, PEEC is hosting a special “Wild Love” edition of their monthly trivia nights for February. Questions will all be about the mating and dating lives of critters near and far! This month’s Trivia Tuesday game will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Learn more and register at peecnature.org/events.
Challenge friends old and new at this interactive program, compete for prizes and discover some of the wild love stories of the animal kingdom. Maybe you’ll even get some tips for your love life from our furry and feathered friends! Prizes for the top three players will include items from the PEEC gift shop and Chamber Checks from the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce that can be used at local businesses.
The Wild Love edition of Trivia Tuesday is geared for an adult audience. All questions will be factual, but animal mating behaviors and biology will be explicitly discussed. Please sign up at your discretion!
PEEC hosts Trivia Tuesdays via Zoom on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. Participants use the platform Kahoot! to answer trivia questions. Kahoot! can be accessed either on a mobile device or through a second browser window. Registration is required to get the event link and password. Go to peecnature.org/events to find out more, get additional instructions and sign up!

PEEC was founded in 2000 to serve the community of Los Alamos. It offers people of all ages a way to enrich their lives by strengthening their connections to our canyons, mesas, mountains and skies. PEEC operates the Los Alamos Nature Center at 2600 Canyon Road, holds regular programs and events and hosts a number of interest groups from birding to hiking to butterfly watching. The Los Alamos Nature Center is currently closed due to COVID-19, but there are many ways to learn about nature and interact with PEEC online. PEEC activities are open to everyone; however, members receive exclusive benefits such as discounts on programs and merchandise. Annual memberships start at $35.
