Third Annual Horns For Hope Fundraiser Collects $2,290 For Needy Families

BY CORY MILLER AND
SHAWN AMBURGEY

Thank you so much to all who donated to the our annual Horns for Hope fundraiser to help needy families in the community. We set a new record in donations this year at $2,290!

We were able to use the money the money raised to buy gift cards for families that were barely meeting ends meet so they could purchase a toy for their children, winter clothing, or food for a nice holiday meal. We were also able to help a family in town cover their rent for the next month through New Beginnings Church. With the remaining donations we received, we decided to help out another charity in town called Self Help. Self Help assists those in need of emergency aid, resource referrals, etc.

We were very happy to have helped as many people as we did and look forward to next year’s fundraiser where we will hopefully help even more families!

Again, we want to thank all of those who donated and New Beginnings Church for helping find these families in need
