Department Of Public Utilities To Launch Survey On Environmental Goals

DPU NEWS

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities’ customers may receive a phone call or an email during the week of December 14 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Triton Polling and Research was hired by the department to survey a statistically significant, random sample of citizens to assess the level of community support for its environmental goals.  Specifically, these are six goals that were adopted by the Board of Public Utilities to increase clean electricity and conserve water and natural gas.

Department officials encourage customers to participate in this five-minute, anonymous survey. Feedback on how these goals align with the values and priorities of the community will be critical in guiding the department and the board on how it assesses future energy resources and implements conservation measures.

Questions may be directed to the DPU at (505) 662-8333 or CustomerCare@lacnm.us.
