Department Of Public Utilities Launches Utilities Self-Service Portal


An improved way for customers to access their utility accounts

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) has announced the launch of the Utilities Self-Service Portal. Through the department’s Tyler Munis billing software, the self-service portal permits DPU customers, from their personal computers or tablets, to:

· Manage account information

· Access past and present utility bills

· View payment history

· Make online credit or debit card payments by directing customers to DPU’s payment vendor: Paymentus.

Department officials explain that the free cloud-based portal is an additional tool to assist customers to access their utility information at their convenience. The launch of the portal does not change any personal customer settings, for example email delivery of utility bills, automatic payment programs, budget billing or LA Green subscriptions.
