Democrats Are Riden’ For Biden Saturday Oct. 10 And Oct. 17

Northern New Mexico Democrats are hosting two long-routed rides through the region Saturday, Oct. 10 and Oct. 17 in an event called “Riden’ For Biden”.

Participants are invited to decorate their cars, trucks, RVs or motorcycles with their favorite Democratic candidate’s signs and may join the convoy at several locations along the way.

On Saturday, Oct. 10, participants will line up at the Cathedral in Sante Fe for an 8:30 a.m. departure, traveling to Washington Avenue, Paseo de Peralta/US 285 to Agua Fria to Cerrillos Road and on to Pojoaque. At 9:15 a.m. the group will process through the Pojoaque community before traveling on to Los Alamos County.

Participants can also join in at Totavi by 9:30 a.m.

Los Alamos Democrats will meet at the old Smith’s parking lot in Los Alamos by 9:30 a.m. or at 9 a.m. if they would like to get a pre-made sign or make their own. Social distancing and masks required. When the caravan arrives, it will continue to White Rock and then on to Espanola via Hwy 30.

Participants may join the caravan between Santa Clara Pueblo and Espanola at 10:15 a.m. and then travel via the Santa Clara Bridge onto Riverside Drive and towards Ohkay Owingeh. Following Hwy 285 towards Chama, there will be stop at Bode’s General Store in Abiquiu for gas/restroom.

Then it’s on to Tierra Amarilla and then to Chama before heading back to Espanola.
