Rotary Club of Los Alamos members were joined by volunteers from throughout the community Saturday to pack some 40,000 meals for distribution in Northern New Mexico. Committee member Alison Pannell reports that The Food Depot in Santa Fe will distribute some of those meals to LA Cares next month. In addition to the more than 25 Rotarians who actively participated, Club President Laura Gonzales reports that there were at least 10 members of Boy Scout Troop 22 who helped all day as well as PMI Otowi Bridge Chapter members, Los Alamos Police Department, New Mexico State Police. She also thanked Crossroads Bible Church for their tremendous support, use of their facilities and members of the congregation who came to help. Courtesy photo
