Dear Parents and Families,

Good morning and thank you for working with us to determine safe ways to support teaching and learning in the Los Alamos Public Schools.  We have collected all of your questions, prepared answers and organized the information into categories.

This FAQ provides guidance and information about questions from parents, staff, and students. The document will be regularly updated as we learn new information.

Some of the questions have been about masks.

Question:  “Will the kids be required to wear a mask or face shield all the time while in the classroom?

Answer: Yes, at this time the New Mexico Public Education Department and Department of Health are requiring masks or face shields for all students and staff except while eating, drinking or exercising.
