Los Alamos Arts Council To Host Annual Meeting June 3 Via Zoom

Los Alamos Arts Council will host our Annual Meeting, Wednesday, June 3, at 6:00 p.m. Out of respect regarding social distancing, LAAC will host the Annual Meeting through Zoom. Active LAAC members and members of the community are invited to attend the special event. This free event is limited to the first 100 people to register. Active members of LAAC will receive an email invite on May 30, with registration information for the meeting. Members of the community who wish to attend must send an email to laarts@rt66.com before June 2 at 5 p.m. to be added to the invitation.

LAAC will present its Annual Summary, as well as discuss the events of the upcoming year. Active Members received a special electronic ballot on May 20, which must be returned by midnight on June 3 to vote for new board members. The ballot includes biographies of each candidate. We also hope to introduce the candidates to the membership and community at the Annual Meeting. New Board Members will be announced on June 4.

Members of the community who wish to join LAAC are invited to go to https://losalamosartscouncil.org/members-page/ to start a new membership or renew their current membership. On July 1, the Los Alamos Arts Council will be increasing its membership rates, which include additional benefits. Members can join up to June 30 at the lower membership rate, while receiving some of the benefits offered with the new membership level. If members join between May 20 and June 3, they may participate in Board Member elections.
