Congratulations to Los Alamos High School senior Jacob Nielsen who graduates this month and has enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He is slated to report in July to Lackland Air Force Base in Texas to train for duty in Operations Intelligence. Nielsen has played rugby for nine years for the Los Alamos Nukes team. He says he is excited to serve and protect this great nation. He is the sixth Nielsen sibling to join the Air Force. Nielsen’s brother David is serving in Germany, sister Danae is an avionics specialist for the F22 at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, and sister Steffie is serving in Southern Japan.
