Registration opens at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 11 for Safety Town 2020 which will be held in June at Aspen Elementary School.Where students learn strategies to keep themselves safe and have opportunities to practice basic safety procedures in new situations, including:

Fire Safety,
Bicycle Safety
Animal Safety
Gun Safety
Stranger Safety
Pedestrian Safety
Bus Safety
Water Safety
Drug Safety.

The program is free for all children entering Kindergarten in Fall of 2020. This year’s Safety Town will be held at Aspen Elementary School.

Session 1 is from June 8-12 and Session 2 is from June 15-19. Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with lunch provided.

Registration begins Wednesday, March 11 at 8 a.m. Online registration will be available for this event at https://www.losalamosnm.us/government/departments/community_services/parks_recreation_and_open_spaces/programs. Students can only sign up for one session.
