Los Alamos Police Department dispatcher Erica Rock, center, graduated Feb. 21 from the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy as Valedictorian for Public Safety Telecommunicator Class 146. Rock’s grade point average was a 99.07. LAPD Chief Sgambellone, right, congratulated her on her achievement. ‘We are very proud of Erica and of all our dispatchers.  Dispatching can be a very difficult job and I applaud anyone who chooses such a challenging career,” he said.
