Jemez Mountain Electric Cooperative crews have restored power for consumers in the Jemez Springs area. If anyone else remains without power, they are asked to call the outage hotline.

“We want to thank everyone for their calls and patience today as our crews battled the elements to restore power,” JMEC spokesperson Tabitha Clay told the Los Alamos Reporter Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.

Clay earlier estimated that some 140 customers were without power in the Valles Caldera area.
