A 50-year old Los Alamos man is facing multiple charges related to allegations that he provided marijuana to his two teenage daughters and several of their friends.
Samuel Nasise, 50 is charged with:
- 15 counts of distributing marijuana to minors
- 3 counts of abuse of a child
- 15 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor
Los Alamos Police Department Cpl. James Keane, a school resource officer, from a man who said his teenage sisters had been provided marijuana by their father, Samuel Nasise, while they were visiting his home on Sunday, Nov. 16. The affidavit for an arrest warrant filed by Keane said the man told him the girls’ mother had been informed of the incident by a concerned citizen. The man said the girls mother has been divorced from Nasise for quite a while and has full custody of the girls.
Keane said the man told him that the two girls had admitted to receiving and smoking marijuana that had been provided to them by Nasise.
On Nov. 21 Keane interviewed one of the girls at Los Alamos High School and she confirmed that her father had provided her and five of her friends with marijuana on two separate occasions over the previous two weeks and that she and all five her friends consumed the marijuana at or near her father’s home on Manhattan Loop. Keane interviewed the second girl the same day and she also confirmed that he had provided her and two of her friends on one occasion the previous week and that she and both her friends had consumed the marijuana in an RV trailer on Nasise’s property. According to the affidavit, she told Keane she was aware of another occasion when Nasise had provided her sister and five of her sister’s friends with marijuana.
Keane’s affidavit said he then interviewed the five friends over the next several days who were also LAHS students and all of them confirmed the allegation that Nasise had provided them with the marijuana they smoked.
