Northern New Mexico Citizens Advisory Board members are scheduled to meet from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Student Center Ballroom at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas.
They will be welcomed by NMHU president Dr. Sam Minner and provost Dr. Roxanne Gonzales-Walker.
The board is expected to elect a new chair and vice chair. Neither current chair Stan Riveles of Taos or vice chair Cherylin Atcitty of Taos are seeking reelection.
N3B technical manager Danny Katzman is to present an update on both the chromium and the Royal Demolition Explosives (RDX) projects. The board will also hear updates from Department of Energy-Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office manager Doug Hintze, deputy designated federal officer Dave Nickless and NNMCAB executive director Menice Santistevan.
The board will also discuss and possibly act on reconstitution of its standing committees.
