The Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation has announced that Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry has donated $1,000 to Court For A Cause, bringing the total raised to date up to $2,971.90. The total includes the $1,000 matching funds pledged by TechSource.

Dr. Bill Nichols and his wife, Kristen were both born and raised in Los Alamos.

The 2019 LAHS Homecoming Court decided to start a new tradition similar to other schools nationwide, called Court for a Cause. The students wanted to give back to their community, especially the schools. The money raised from Court for a Cause will be used to offer mini grants (up to $100 each) to LAPS teachers, so they don’t have to reach into their own pockets to fund their ideas for the classroom.
