Grammy nominated, singer/songwriter Kim Richey will make a stop at Fuller Lodge in support of her critically acclaimed release Edgeland. (2018). The Nashville-based, progressive country artist has recorded eight albums of her own and written for many of the industry’s biggest names.
Her songs have been recorded by Trisha Yearwood (“Believe Me Baby (I Lied)“), Radney Foster (“Nobody Wins“), and Brooks & Dunn (“Every River“). Richey has also contributed vocals on albums with the likes of Jason Isbell, Ryan Adams, Reba McEntire and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
“I try not to produce shows during the summer months,” said local promoter Jonathan Lathrop, “but I have really struggled in my attempt to bring more women artists to Los Alamos, so I jumped at the opportunity when Kim’s agent called. Kim’s body of work and influence in the industry are indicative of her talent and attention to her craft and we are lucky to have her visit us.”
The June 27 seated show is produced by Lathrop’s Live in Los Alamos and will see Richey accompanied by one other musician. Beer and wine from Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op, as well as dinner, will be available at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at Los Alamos Schools Credit Union for $15 (cash or check only), at liveinlosalamos.com for $17.50, or at the door for $20.
