Pilgrimage –  A unique 200 year old New Mexico tradition, the Good Friday pilgrimage to the Sanctuario de Chimayo in Chimayo. The church itself was built in the 1800s and, while old, is certainly not the oldest Catholic Church in New Mexico (but it is one of the most famous, with something like 200,000 visitors annually).
