As part of its “Re-envisioning New Mexico’s Statewide Assessment System” process, the New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED) is gathering input on best practices for measuring student success within New Mexico’s statewide assessment system.
This covers all tests, including PARCC, SBA, NMASR, NMAPA, Istation, and ACCESS, as well as the frequency of testing and whateducators and PED do with test scores. There have been ten in-person meetings and now, in order to gather information from people who were not able to attend those in person meetings, Lynn Vásquez, PED Director of Assessment is offering four webinars.
Members of the Los Alamos community, including parents, Los Alamos Public Schools staff and others interested in the process, are invited to participate. Participants will have an opportunity to hear the same presentation given during the in-person meetings
and to respond to an input survey (asking the same input as in-person meetings) following the webinar.
