Los Alamos Fire Department Firefighters Michael Garcia, left, and Michael Crockett at Station 6 remind the community that when they move their clocks forward this weekend, it’s a good time to check their smoke alarms and replace batteries. Smoke alarm batteries should be changed twice a year and changing them when the clocks move forward or backwards is a good way to remember to do so. Daylight Saving Time is set for 2 a.m., Sunday, March 10.
