Blanca Peak is a 14,351-foot peak in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range which extends from Colorado into Northern New Mexico. This peak is the highest summit of this mountain range and is the fourth highest summit in the Rocky Mountains. Blanca is pictured here on the road to Fort Garland, Colo., on a blustery, winter day.
