Weather permitting, Parker Construction, under contract with Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities, will close a section of Arizona Avenue east of 45th Street at the unpaved water tank access road.  Crews will repair a waterline.

The utility work will occur for two days, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 27 through Thursday, Feb. 28.  Traffic control devices to close the section of road will be erected each morning at 8:30 a.m. and removed each afternoon by 4 p.m.

Access will be maintained to all homes.  Properties west of the construction zone will be detoured to 45th Street and properties east of the construction zone will be detoured to 36th Street. Drivers are urged to observe the speed limit and traffic control signs.
