C’YA NEWS
Champions of Youth Ambitions (C’YA) is now accepting nominations for the 10th annual Community Asset Awards.
The community program based on the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets, recognizes people of all ages for the work they do in our community and in the world. Nominations are accepted through December 21st at 5pm and awarded in early 2019.
The 2018 event recognized 40 individuals, couples, clubs and businesses throughout the community. The deeds ranged from raising money for a school project, to making a difference in a single life or for many in the community. The idea behind the Community Asset Awards is to salute those that may not receive recognition for the difference they make each day.
Nominations can be done by visiting their website at www.cya-nm.org or requesting a nomination form via email or phone. Champions of Youth Ambitions can be reached at cya.org@att.net or via text and voicemail at 505-695-9139.
