It is with great sadness that we share that (Dolores) Lola Netuschil went home to be with our Lord on October 19, 2026. She was surrounded by family as she fought a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 71.
Lola was married to Tim Netuschil and they had two daughters, Lisa Netuschil and Karen Herzing. They were later divorced and she continued living and working in Los Alamos.
Besides her children, she is survived by grandchildren Jhoniq, Colton, Kaia, Malachi, Asiah and Landon. Great grandchildren: Weston, Aurora and Amiri. Her siblings, Mary Shuck, Gina Hager (Steve), Rita Singleton, and Victor Serrano (Amie).
She is also survived by her very caring partner Sammy Faris. Together they enjoyed playing with Suki (her Shih Tzu), traveling, gardening, picnicking, and spending time with family.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. There were no strangers to Lola, she made friends everywhere she went. She loved hiking, swimming and spending time with her many friends.
A celebration of life will take place in early summer of 2027.
Editor’s note: Lola will be fondly missed by her Woodland Road neighbors
