Dear Friends:
Election Day is Nov. 3, 2026 and I urge you to exercise the privilege and right to vote. While the RPLA has invested significant time and resources to support our candidates and drive voter turnout, we urge you to remind family, friends, and neighbors to cast their ballots on Tuesday.
My final question to voters: Are you happy with our County Government?
● When you received your utility bill this month, remember that the County Council voted for the sewage, electric, water, and gas rate increases, as well as “Time of Use” and “Residential Demand” charges. Councilor David Reagor opposed.
● As you drive down Trinity, remember that Council voted 6-1 for the construction, delays, and the car accident you nearly missed. Councilor David Reagor opposed.
● As you experience an increased cost of everyday living, remember that our Council voted 6-1 for a Gross Receipts Tax hike and whopping salary raises for Councilors (Councilor David Reagor opposed.
● As you notice the surveillance cameras all over town, remember that our Council conveniently scheduled another community meeting after the Election. With the public outrage and serious concerns raised, our Council should have voted to take them down.
● As you say “good-bye” to yet another doctor, small business owner, or a friend who cannot afford to live here anymore, remember that our Council has become increasingly hostile to our middle class and prioritizes the financial interests of big, profit-driven Developers over
its residents.
Voting for Councilors Cull and Hand, as well as former County manager Steve Lynne guarantees more tax hikes, mandates, and intrusions of your freedoms and privacy. Please vote for Jason Chappel and Eric Stromberg to change the direction of our County government.
