Local Wreaths Across America ‘Remember Me’ Event Planned For Saturday Dec. 19, 2026 At Guaje Pines Cemetery

Local Wreaths Across America volunteers are working hard to ensure that all veterans laid to rest at Guaje Pines Cemetery are honored this December as part of National Wreaths Across America Day.

This year Wreaths Across America Day will be held on December 19, 2022. The community is encouraged and invited to join us at 10 a.m. at Guaje Pines Cemetery to Remember, Honor, Teach about our community’s heroes where more than 435 wreaths will need to be placed. This year, ceremonies will be held at over 5,000 participating locations nationally, and 26 overseas cemeteries with the placing of nearly 3 million wreaths for interred veterans.

The goal: To have 435+ sponsorships established by no later than December 1 st , 2026 in order to place a live, balsam fir veteran’s wreath at the headstone of every American veteran at Guaje Pines and/or Santa Fe National Cemetery to Remember their sacrifice, Honor their service, and Teach the next generation about the value of freedom.
