Los Alamos
I’ve volunteered with David Hampton on climate and energy policy work for more than two years. During this time, I’ve had a front row seat watching him interact with all sorts of people: high school students, Congressional staff, people who know a lot about climate and energy and people who know very little.
No matter who you are, and no matter whether you agree or disagree on the topic at hand, I’ve seen how David meets people where they are with transparency, thoughtfulness, and respect. He listens to understand and to try to find ways we can all come out ahead, not to choose winners and losers.
This is why I know that a vote for David Hampton for Los Alamos County Councilor is a vote for someone who’s going to listen to you and treat you with respect, even if you share different experiences and expectations. And that’s something sorely missing from today’s highly polarized political environment.
