COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
The DC fast chargers at Mesa Public Library are now operational and available for public use! While the tap-to-pay feature is not yet available, drivers can access the chargers using the Monta Charge app.
How to Start Charging:
- Download the Monta Charge app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Create an account and add a payment method.
- Open the app and locate the National Car Charging: Los Alamos County charging station.
- Select the available charger and follow the instructions in the app to start your charging session.
- Connect your vehicle as directed and confirm that charging has started.
The chargers deliver up to 150 kW of power and were funded in part through a grant from the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT). We appreciate your patience as we work to activate the tap-to-pay feature.
