I would like to thank the Los Alamos School District for making a positive change in their math curriculum this year.  As I understand it, and have observed, the new curriculum utilizes traditional, standard math teaching and terminology. This is something that I had asked our school district to consider over the previous Common Core Curriculum.

I can attest that our teachers are excited to have this new curriculum that allows them to use the traditional math methods of teaching that they know and are proven.  Over time, we should see improvement in our district testing scores. Thank you to our district and dedicated teachers!
