BEEHAUS NEWS RELEASE

Artist Margarita Ryan is inviting community members to take part in The Lives We Carried, a public art project about people who moved to Los Alamos, or changed the course of their lives here, because of a partner’s work or opportunity.

Margarita will record participants’ stories in their own words, exploring what they left behind, what they discovered, and the lives they built in Los Alamos. These interviews will inspire a mural on a local electrical box. With permission, selected stories may also be shared online.

People of all genders and kinds of partnerships are welcome; no connection to the Lab is needed. Participating in an interview does not guarantee a painted portrait or online publication.

Interested in sharing your story? Email a short introduction to beehaus.art@gmail.com with “The Lives We Carried” in the subject line.
