Buildings with three or more floors in the downtown area of Los Alamos will be experiencing lower water pressure on the upper-level floors today, October 1 beginning at noon.

Department of Public Utilities crews are performing an emergency repair on a valve at the Twin Tanks water storage area. Work is beginning around noon and is expected to last five hours.
