For those in the community who have quit attending speaking events at Fuller Lodge due to not being able to hear, the hearing loop there is now functioning magnificently.

The County Public Works Department is to be commended for hearing the cry from those of us with hearing loss to fix the hearing loop system in Fuller Lodge. It works great now for those whose hearing aids have T-coil capability.

A hearing loop system has also been installed at the frequently used public meeting room at the White Rock Fire Station.

Another County building, the Nature Center, has a great hearing loop system, so if you
have hearing loss and hearing aids with T-coil, you can hear every word and truly enjoy
lecture-type events there.

The Council Chambers also has a super hearing loop system.

Thank you, Los Alamos County, for assisting the part of the populous with hearing loss
to better participate in events in county facilities. A shout out to Eric Martinez, Yvonne
Valencia, Juan Rael, and County Manager Anne Laurent, for addressing this need in
County public meeting places.
