Join the Rotary Club of Los Alamos for an afternoon of beer, brats, music, and community building on Sunday, October 4 from 2-5 PM at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op. https://rotarylosalamos.org/oktoberfest.
Rotary will provide bratwurst plates for a suggested donation of $20. Here’s some of the projects your donations will support this year:
- 40,000 meals for northern New Mexico families in partnership with The Food Depot ($8,000)
- Merit and need-based local youth scholarships ($3,000)
- Telehealth systems for remote communities in the Sierra Madre ($1,000)
- Nurse scholarships in Juarez ($1,000)
- A water purification and storage system in Colombia ($1,000)
- Smartphones and digital literacy training for refugees in Rwanda ($1,000)
Rotary Club of Los Alamos meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays at noon at United Church where we host speakers on local and international issues and plan local and international service projects. Lunch is provided and our meetings are open to the public. https://rotarylosalamos.org/
