Los Alamos Arts Council Announces September Events, Including Plein Air Painters Of New Mexico 18th Annual Show And Pajarito Literacy Festival 2026

LAAC NEWS RELEASE

It’s September already, and Fall is right around the corner! Our small but mighty team is enjoying the cooler weather, but our passion for art is just heating up. This month, we’ll be planning the 2nd Annual Pajarito Literary Festival, opening a HUGE show with the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico, and making plans for our newly refreshed studio (thanks to the Los Alamos County Facilities crew and our AMAZING volunteers for helping us here!) As a reminder, you can find our most updated calendar of events here: https://www.losalamosartscouncil.org/events-2-1

As we approach Fall, we wanted to take a quick moment to thank our donors. Thanks to you, we have raised over $22,000 in donations in 2026! We are not done fundraising yet, and have just passed the 1/3 mark on our $60,000 annual goal to keep us going with only four months remaining in the year.

Want to support the arts? Check out our fundraising page here and pledge a recurring donation today: https://www.losalamosartscouncil.org/giving-page-1-1
