The Los Alamos County Community Services Department invites community members to join in the celebration of the Re-Grand Opening of the Los Alamos County Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, from 9am to 12pm.
The Re-Grand Opening event will begin at 9am with a welcome and remarks from those involved in the project, followed by a Ribbon-Cutting on Hole #1. The public will have the opportunity to speak with the project managers and check out the Golf Course, with a free try-it for holes 1 – 4, hit golf balls on the practice range, putt-putt on the putting green, and play a game of Snag-It!
The golf course is not just for adults or golfers; bring your family and friends to take a turn on the bouncy houses! Secret City Cornhole will have boards for all ages out for the public between 9am and 12pm on grass. Boards for under 15-year-olds will also be available.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the Los Alamos County Golf Course Re-Grand Opening event by 19th Hole, our new Sports Pub at the Golf Course!
Additionally, Secret City Cornhole will host a cornhole tournament at 1pm in the Los Alamos Golf Course Community Room. The tournament will have a four-round round robin followed by a Blind Draw for a double-elimination tournament. This event will have four ACL Comp boards. The 19th Hole Sports Pub will be providing food and drinks. This is a skill-based competition with no betting allowed. League fees go toward maintenance of equipment. Leftover funds go to the fundraiser of the month, and an Airmail event will take place with funds going towards the fundraiser.
Secret City Cornhole is fundraising for Austyn Little. Austyn was recently diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, where a tumor pressed up against her trachea, causing difficulty breathing, wheezing, and coughing.
