Hilltopper Run Returns Sunday, Aug. 16

The Hilltopper Run returns Sunday, August 16, with a 5 Mile Run, 5K Run and Kids 1 Mile Run benefiting the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation.

It’s not too late to sign up! Register here. Race-day registration will also be available.
All races will start at the west end of Canyon Rim Trail and finish at Smith’s Marketplace, 751
Trinity Drive.

Race times are:

● 5 Mile Run: 6:45 a.m.
● 5K Run & Fitness Walk: 8:30 a.m.
● Kids 1 Mile Run: 9:45 a.m. for children ages 12 and under
Packet Pickup and Registration
Participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets in advance on Saturday, August 15,
from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Los Alamos Aquatic Center, 2760 Canyon Road.
Packets will also be available beginning at 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning at Smith’s Marketplace.

Race Information

The Hilltopper Run, organized by TCR Productions, offers a distance for a variety of ages and abilities, including competitive 5 Mile and 5K races, a 5K fitness walk and a Kids 1 Mile Run. All finishers receive a finish ribbon, and first-, second- and third-place finishers in each age division receive medals.

The 5 Mile and 5K races feature age divisions ranging from age 8 and under through age 80 and over. The Kids 1 Mile includes divisions for ages 4–6, 7–9 and 10–12. Participants can also form a Hilltopper Team with a minimum of five members. Teams are scored based on the combined times of their five fastest finishers.
